Disneybound is a blog run by Leslie, a fantastically visioned individual, who posts inspirational (to say the least) outfit ideas that are inspired from Disney characters. Due to a follower who challenged herself last year to Disneybound (v. the action of dressing up in a way that is inspired from something related to Disney) every day in March, this challenge was started and I’m taking it on! (:
I am absolutely in love, love, love with Wreck-It Ralph. The art, the story and the concepts are all amazingly stunning! It’s rare of me to wear a bow, but I found it wonderfully fitting for Disneybounding King Candy. (:
My absolute favorite of of King Candy’s character design was his very intricate cupcake liner collar. It was both very elegant and delicate and it just framed the whole idea of how he is royalty very well. It’s a pity that I don’t have anything in my wardrobe with a collar like that, but I decided to incorporate the delicacy of the collar and the colors of the outfit with my soft bubble dress. (:
LACMA is one of my absolute favorite museums and part of the reason is the famous Urban Lights art piece at the front of the museum grounds. It’s no secret that this site has been the extremely commonly picked location for movies, fashion editorials and wedding photo shoots.
Thanks for reading! (: Smile today! (:
So….uhhhhh while I was at LACMA, I had too much fun with the Penetrable in Neon Lime piece (by Jesús Rafael Soto) by pretending to harvest the noodles. XD Oh boy…. Here are some shots of me acting like a total dork.
