Smile! for [COD #43] Disneybound March Challenge Day 29

Disneybound is a blog run by Leslie, a fantastically visioned individual, who posts inspirational (to say the least) outfit ideas that are inspired from Disney characters. Due to a follower who challenged herself last year to Disneybound (v. the action of dressing up in a way that is inspired from something related to Disney) every day in March, this challenge was started and I’m taking it on! I’ve always loved Roald Dahl as a writer. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG were all books that I really enjoyed growing up. James and the Giant Peach was one of my definite favorites, and it was even better when I watched the movie, partly because I am an absolute Tim Burton fanatic!! ❤

My friend really wanted me to try putting on make up for this outfit and I thought that it would be helpful to add green accents on my bottom lashline for Miss Spider’s brilliant eyes, as well as some light lavender for my eyelid. Hopefully, it translates decently.

To be honest, I never thought that I would wear my black thigh high boots for an everyday outfit. I had only acquired them for cosplaying purposes, but I thought that they fit with the outfit so well that I wore them anyway. What do you think?
